Perfect central location, stunning lake views, friendly and efficient staff, convenient parking options, delicious restaurant and generous breakfast, excellent wifi. Best hotel during my 3-week trip!

I chose this hotel for attending a meeting and was impressed by their state-of-the-art seminar rooms. The rooms, measuring 50 and 70 m2, were equipped with all the necessary technical equipment and provided a pleasant and constructive work environment. Additionally, the rooms were filled with natural daylight, enhancing the overall experience.

The only downside was the lack of a dedicated business center. As a businessman, I would have appreciated a separate area with computers and printers to facilitate work-related tasks.

The Schwann met with expectataions, the location was brilliant, the room was modern, clean and of a decent size, breakfast was good as was the food generally. We would definately recommend and possibly return to this hotel

Nice location, in central area of town and right on the lake. Excellent fish meal at the adjoining restaurant.

Rooms were clean, but the entire hotel had a "has-been", dated feel--perhaps the whole town feels that way.

We had an amazing Thanksgiving stay in a charming lakeside town. The hotel was in a prime location with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The family-run hotel had a warm, friendly atmosphere and the staff made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and stylishly updated, with amenities like a mini-bar and flat-screen TV. We loved the fact that there was a fine dining restaurant with incredible views and an old-style beer bar. The beer was definitely a must-try, and it was great that we could have one at any hour of the day.

Honestly, we couldn't find anything to dislike about our stay. While there was no air conditioning, the provided fan was sufficient to keep us cool.

I really appreciated the very friendly and helpful service we received from the front desk staff -they were terrific. I should remember the couples' names and their dog but sadly I have forgotten !I also liked the breakfast and the food in general and the lovely indoor and outdoor dining area. My room was upgraded to a suite with a balcony and I couldn't have been more comfortable. I would love to return there someday.

Location was fantastic, in front of the lake and with marvelous sight on the mountains. Staff was extremely kind. Breakfast buffet was good as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable - right in the center of town with stunning views of the lake and mountains. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony where we could relax and take in the picturesque scenery. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast spread was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the option of room service and the convenience of laundry services. the hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services that made our stay all the more enjoyable.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a delightful stay in a hotel located in the heart of town. The location is perfect, a short walk to the esplanade for walks to a small castle, and offers a stunning lake view. The room was spacious, light, and with great character finishes, and the bathroom was big and modern. The staff was always helpful, with great smiles on their faces and service. The breakfast was incredible, covering all requests that someone could have, and the Christmas stand was a great addition to the hotel.

The hotel could benefit from more public rooms to use for the hotel guests.

Spectacular view of Traunsee lake and mountains. Greate location on the town square and it's only 40 minutes drive to Salzburg. It has Free Wi-Fi. Free parking at the back of the hotel but you have to move your car by 10 am.

We got to the restaurant for the buffet breakfast a few minutes before 11. The staff were not so happy and our German speaking friend could understand their comments about us. I understand why they were not happy but as a staff it's not nice to comment about customers.

Located right down at the lake shore it provided an ideal place to start exploring the town of Gmunden, The staff were friendly and helpful
